Assistant to the Treasurer
The Assistant to the Treasurer assists the Treasurer in all aspects of financial recordkeeping and reporting. Specific responsibilities include: budgeting, cash management, accounts receivable, property/liability/auto insurance oversight, automobile fleet management, audit entries, individual income tax preparation for Sisters: as well as clerical duties including organizing & maintaining files. Qualifications: Computer literate, MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of Sage/MIP accounting software preferred. A bachelor's degree in accounting required. Individual must be able to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator provides diversified administrative support to the Director of Development, and assists in planning and coordinating fundraising/alumni activities and special events. Specific responsibilities include: Preparing donor-related reports, gift acknowledgments, updating and maintaining multiple databases, and assisting in prospect research. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience in fundraising, alumni relations, events planning, or related field a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Previous experience utilizing fundraising software is preferred.
Administrative Assistant
New Sharon, a retirement and healthcare facility of the Sisters of the Holy Child, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide confidential, administrative, and secretarial support to the Administrator. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating the scheduling and planning of meetings, events, room assignments with dietary/housekeeping departments, maintaining a master calendar of planned activities, recording and transcribing meeting minutes, and overseeing the training and maintenance of the telephone and photocopier system. Qualifications: Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and the internet. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Typing skills of 50 wpm. Prior administrative/secretarial background (2 years minimum) is a must. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task. An associate’s degree from a business school is preferred.
