Centro Cornelia Connelly, which opened in 1995, is run by three Holy Child Sisters. It is a place of gathering that offers day-long retreats and spiritual direction to the surrounding communities.
In addition to the work the sisters who live at the Center do, they also serve in the surrounding communities by:
- Overseeing a women’s center
- Managing a day center for babies of working mothers
- Offering English classes at grade schools
- Collaborating on a course on the Spiritual Exercises, as well as a formation program for lay teams at the parish level for the Archdiocesan Department of Spirituality
- Offering a 30-day retreat for novice directors in training, religious, and laity
The sisters also serve at a:
- Deanery
- Men’s prison
- Ignatian Center
