Response-Ability (R-A) sponsors college graduates who give one or two years of service teaching in inner city schools and at international sites, where the need for first-rate teachers is often high.

R-A teachers are trained, coached, and inspired to provide quality education in the tradition of Cornelia Connelly, the foundress of the Society.

Living in community with one another, they deepen their spiritual, personal, and professional growth. The program launched in 1974 and today, Response-Ability teachers can be found in classrooms and communities across Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
