As our sisters grow older, they often exchange full-time ministering for more flexible service. Nonetheless, the last word you would use to define many of these sisters is retired. In fact, one “retired” sister remarked, “There aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do!”

Our “retired” sisters serve in schools and social service organizations, visit the hospitalized and homebound often bringing them the Eucharist, keep in touch with former students and friends, and in many other ways.

The Province has an infirmary in Rosemont, PA known as Holy Child Center. By reason of infirmity, some sisters have moved to the Center, where they pursue a ministry of prayer.

Assisted living communities are maintained in Rye, NY; Haverford, PA; Bryn Mawr, PA; and Rosemont, PA.
