In April, 130 graduates of the former Rosemont Senior School gathered for a reunion at Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pa.

During the reunion, graduate Madeline Sherry ’70 reflecting on the group’s shared experiences, said, “The sisters and the lay faculty took Cornelia Connelly’s educational philosophy to heart in recognizing and bringing out each student’s unique abilities. We share connections to the entire Holy Child community….We share connections with the 10 Catholic, independent elementary and secondary schools that educate more than 3,500 children throughout the United States each year, as well as the Holy Child communities in Europe and Africa. We share in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Cornelia Connelly with many events planned in 2009.”

Sr. Polly McShain thanked Stephanie Walsh Beilman ’67, Maureen McTamney ’69, and Minna Walsh ’68 for coordinating the reunion. The reunion was a wonderful chance for old classmates and friends to reconnect with one another, as well as many of their former teachers.
