Sr. Sophia Onuora received a prestigious award from the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, Catholic Church of the Assumption, Falomo, Lagos, Nigeria as part of their 60th-anniversary celebrations last Sunday 15th September, 2024 (Our Lady of Sorrows Memorial). She takes the opportunity to reflect on her meaningful collaboration and ministry with the CCM.

I accompany Confraternity of Christian Mother’s, Church of the Assumption Parish, Falomo as their Spiritual Director. This involves attending their prayer meetings weekly and general meetings every first Sunday of the month. I also accompany them to pay condolence visits to members who are bereaved and Service of Songs organised by CCM. On these occasions I have an opportunity to share appropriate word of God with them.
