The pioneer Sisters of Holy Child College, Asa, Otukpo, namely Sisters Antoinette Opara, Stella Envulu, Chinedu Ike and Jacinta Ekeh have successfully commenced the maiden academic session at the college with sixteen students who reported at the college on 17 September, 2016.
The Sisters have also moved into the convent in the college premises where the Bishop of Otukpo Diocese, Most Rev. Michael Apochi, installed the Blessed Sacrament and celebrated Mass in the convent chapel. The Bishop, blessed the entire compound, and introduced the Sisters and the students to the Otukpo community who welcomed them warmly and promised to protect the school.
The SHCJ Sisters in Otukpo community, the closest neighbors of Asa community, also graced the occasion.
