It was all beautiful and very inspiring as the SHCJ African Province began her Triple Celebration of Perpetual Profession of Vows and the Jubilees with prayer rituals on the eve of the Celebration.
Joyfully, the five candidates for Perpetual Profession of Vows – Mary Alexander, Augustina Asikogu, Sarah Egbai, Julia Okafor, Pauline Okorafor and the Five Jubilarians – Srs. Callista Ahachi, Justina Chikezie, Caroline Mgberekpe, Rose Okoli and Antoinette Opara tell their stories to the admiration of all.
The Coordinators of the Temporary Professed, Sr Celestina Onyia and that of on- going Formation, Sr Clarence Uzogara, carried out the transition rituals in a solenm atmosphere of prayer and praise, joined by the gathered assembly of the entire Sisters, family members of the celebrants and invited guests.
The Province Leader, Sr. Helen Ebede expressed gratitude to all present and said the closing prayer. The die is now cast for the grand Celebration at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, Lekki, Lagos, on 7th August 2021.
