Siria Ana Rivera – Executive Director, Providence Center

Providence Center is a sponsored ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.

On Thursday, April 27th, Providence Center celebrated 30 years of serving the Fairhill Community in North Philadelphia. The anniversary event took place at Overbook Golf Club, where many of our donors, sponsors, and friends gathered to commemorate this milestone. The evening was filled with reflection as we looked back on our history in the community and thought about the countless lives that have been positively impacted by our work and our donors’ generosity. From our humble beginnings in a tiny row home 30 years ago, Providence Center has grown into a beacon of hope and opportunity for Fairhill residents.

A highlight of the evening was when a former student, Carlos, took the stage to share how Providence Center has impacted his life and supported his success. Carlos is a former Teen Leader and Youth Advocate and is currently attending Williamson College of the Trades, where he is studying carpentry on a full scholarship.

Providence Center thanks our generous donors and sponsors, especially the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, for their continued support. Together, we raised over $130,000 – our most successful fundraiser yet! We’re thankful to have celebrated our 30-year anniversary together, and we look forward to a future of continued impact and growth.
