SHCJ Update – Fires in California

So many have been impacted, many with the loss of a home. The fire doesn’t play favorites.
Thanks for thinking of us. It is comforting.

Thank you for all of your calls and emails asking about our Holy Child family members who live, minister, and work in California.

We grieve with the members of our Holy Child family and all who have been impacted by the wildfires in the Los Angeles and Pasadena area. The devastation is overwhelming and difficult to comprehend.

The Province Leadership Team, Associates Core Team, School Administrators, Province Mission Advancement Office, and Ministry Coordinators are keeping in touch with the Associates, alumni, Holy Child schools and ministries, friends, family, and Holy Child Sisters in that area.

We send our loving prayer, concern, and solidarity to all, including first responders, volunteers, and individuals sheltering friends, family, and neighbors. May they know they are held in God’s hands and be assured that we will continue to support them.

Please feel free to leave a prayerful comment below.

You have been in my thoughts and prayers this week. It is only with the grace of God that you will get through this but I am sure you WILL get through it. It is important that we are a community of prayer at all times but especially now.

We are united with you all in prayer for God’s intervention, our Lady’s maternal intercession and Cornelia’s… Courage and peace!
