The events which took place at St. Felix Catholic Church, Nise in Anambra State, Nigeria, witnessed a large turnout of Sisters, the Clergy, lay faithful, family members and well-wishers.

In his homily, the chief celebrant, His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus C. Ezeokafor, Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese explained the religious vows and encouraged the Sisters to be faithful to the vows they profess before the altar of God and before God’s people. He warned that there are dire consequences of not living out the vows.

He further stated that Religious Life is to take a step further in the commandment of God who says “Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect”. He therefore prayed for the grace of God to sustain the Sisters in their resolve to follow Christ.

Sr. Susan Igelle read the message from the Society Leader, Sr. Pauline Darby, SHCJ where she congratulated Sr. Victoria Dyikuk and Sr. Emelda Okolo and encouraged them to deepen their relationship with God.
